U.S. Senators Rick Scott & Marco Rubio Endorse Republican Laurel Lee for Re-election in CD 15

Tampa, Fla. – United States Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio today announced their endorsement of Congresswoman Laurel Lee’s re-election campaign for Florida Congressional District 15. The district encompasses Northeast Hillsborough County, along with parts of Pasco and Polk Counties.

“Laurel Lee has been a great conservative partner in Washington as we fight to hold Congressional Democrats and the Biden administration accountable for their disastrous policies that continue to fail Florida families, whether it be their tax-and-spend agenda that has caused skyrocketing inflation or dangerously allowing open borders,” said Senator Scott. “She has proven to be a strong and principled leader, and I’ve seen firsthand how hard she is working to make a difference in the direction our country is headed. Laurel has more than earned my continued support as she runs for re-election this year, and I’m proud to have endorsed her campaign.”

“Since being elected to Congress, Laurel Lee has shown that she is a powerful conservative voice and an effective advocate for families and the people of Florida,” said Senator Rubio. “Day in and day out in Washington, she’s working to hold those who have failed Floridians accountable and pushing for Republican policies to ensure the safety of our country. I’m proud to call her a partner in Congress and endorse her re-election campaign.”

“I am honored to have earned the support of our Republican Florida Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio,” said Congresswoman Lee. “They are true conservative warriors for Florida in Washington, and it has been an honor to fight alongside them to protect our state and country from the failures of the Biden administration. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to work with them to get our country back on track.”

Laurel Lee, Florida’s former Secretary of State, represents Florida’s 15th Congressional District in Congress. Laurel was elected to Congress on November 8, 2022. As an America First conservative and member of the House Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees, she immediately made the crises on our southern border a top priority. She is leading the charge to hold the Biden administration accountable for their failure to secure our border and keep Americans safe. Laurel was selected to serve as a House impeachment manager for the impeachment trial of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
